Robert Roode Undergoes C5-C6 Neck Fusion Surgery

Bobby Roode provides an update on his condition.

Roode took to Instagram to reveal that he underwent C5-C6 fusion surgery. He will now begin recovery and rehab.

"Big thank you to Dr Andy Cordover and his amazing staff at @andrews_sports_medicine and St Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham Alabama. C5/6 fusion is complete. Now the work begins. Recovery and Rehabilitation. Looking forward to the challenge. Thanks @deneane__17. You’re the best," he wrote.

Roode revealed in September that he was undergoing orthopaedic treatment.

Roode has not wrestled since June 25 when he lost to Omos at a WWE live event in Texas. His last televised match took place on the SmackDowm before WrestleMania when he competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

It is unknown how long Roode will continue to be off television.
