Bobby Steveson On Diamond Mine: A Lot Of Times, We Were Just Throwing People Around And Doing What We Wanted To Do
Bobby Steveson had fun with Diamond Mine.
During the group’s run, Steveson was able to work with veterans like Roderick Strong and new stars like Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Steveson talked about working with other amateur style wrestlers in Diamond Mine.
“It was a lot of legit guys with great backgrounds. The guys that were already in there, they had legit backgrounds in amateur wrestling. So everyone in there was actually legit. A lot of the times, we weren’t just working. A lot of times, we were just throwing people around and doing what we wanted to do, because there’s nothing that they can do to stop us. So being able to be around like-minded people, like myself, that were legit shoot wrestlers and then were able just to whoop someone’s butt when we wanted to do it.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Bobby Steveson spoke about his discussions with Real American Freestyle. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
