On Monday’s edition of Raw, Elias wrestled Jason Jordan in a rematch of their WWE Tables, Ladders, and Chairs bout that Jordan won via a controversial small package. In that bout, the referee missed Elias getting his shoulder up and declared Jordan the winner. On Monday, Elias didn’t miss Jordan’s shoulder.
But the biggest hit of the evening came to Corey Graves’ pride, as he couldn’t help but laugh uncontrollably from the comments made by Booker T.
Booker spent the majority of the match defending Elias and questioning the position and make up of Jordan. It all became too much for Graves, who cracked as Booker asked him to defend Jordan “running around and using illegal tactics.”
Even Michael Cole can be heard chuckling a bit as he tries to pull the segment together.
Graves longstanding rivalry with “The Drifter” Elias (Samson) goes back to their time in NXT. Ever since Elias showed up out of nowhere, Graves has wondered where he came from and how he keeps getting from town to town.
With both men now on Raw, Graves continues to take the side of those oppose Elias. It’s good to hear someone with a headset on walk with Elias.
