Booker T calls Vaquer a 'bonafide star.'
WWE's main roster added Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer to the field of talents. All three have officially wrapped up with the NXT brand.
Booker T addressed Vaquer's transition during his latest Hall of Fame podcast. Booker has put his own signature commentary over one of Vaquer's in-ring moves. While Vaquer does the move, the audience in attendance repeats the sounds that Booker makes on commentary.
Booker joked that he's not happy about Vaquer leaving NXT.
“Let’s talk about Stephanie Vaquer first being drafted to Raw because I’m pretty hot about it (he laughed). I gotta go to work… And I’m wondering what the hell is going on? But no, congratulations to Stephanie Vaquer getting drafted to Raw. She deserves it, man. She deserves it. She’s a star. She really is a bonafide star and I think she’s gonna make a huge difference in that women’s division on the main roster. I really do.
I’ma miss it, man. I’ma tell you guys right now, I’ma miss it. I’m definitely gonna miss Stephanie Vaquer doing her thing, seriously, you know, and bringing that fun to the show and getting the crowd -- fan participation. That’s what’s missing I think in this business and she definitely did it, did a good job at it.”
Next up for Vaquer is a weekend where she'll be in action twice. She is scheduled for a tag match at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide and then she'll be in the women's Money in the Bank Ladder match at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
