Booker T States That He Has Been Thinking About Getting Back Into The Ring

Can the Book-man be effective in a return match?

WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T last competed in the squared circle in 2016 when he defeated 'Lionheart' in a singles match at PCW's 'Springslam' show in which current 205 Live star Noam Dar was the special guest referee for. It has been over two years since Booker T has been in in-ring action and he is normally seen and heard either behind the commentary desk during Monday Night RAW, WWE PPV pre-show panels or on his podcast 'Heated Conversations' where he recently discussed the possibility of returning to the ring for not only one but a few more matches.

"You know what man? I?m thinking about, even perhaps having another match myself.? Booker continued, ?I?m thinking about getting into the ring one more time? I wouldn?t say ?one more time?, I might get in the ring another time after? I wouldn?t? I?ve never really said I was retired.? Booker stated that there was a ?Harlem Heat? retirement but not a Booker T retirement. ?But as far as me I never said that I was retired. I never said that I was never gonna? put the boots on ever again. People ask me do I miss it, I say, ?No, I don?t.? People ask me, ?Man, are we gonna see one more match?? and I?ve always said, ?Hey, never say never?, because you never know what you?re going to do. Right now, I feel good. My body is in [as] peak performance as its going to get at this stage right now."

Speaking of those behind the WWE commentary desk, color-commentator Corey Graves recently spoke with Fightful's own Sean Ross Sapp and Graves explained his reasoning for sending out the indirect tweets about CM Punk following Punk's loss to Mike Jackson at UFC 225
