Booker T Sees Drew McIntyre Winning King Of The Ring

Out of the 16 participants announced for the upcoming King of the Ring tournament, Booker T sees Drew McIntyre as the one that can perhaps benefit the most by winning the whole tournament.

In his "The Hall Of Fame Podcast," Booker recalled seeing the initial announcement that the tournament would return for the first time since 2014 and believes McIntyre becoming King of the Ring will elevate him to a brand new level. Having won King of the Ring himself, Booker knows what winning the tournament means for him and believes at the end of the day, fans are going to have a blast seeing the tournament unfold.

Trick Williams: My Run By Carmelo Hayes' Side Helped Me Build A Rapport With The Fans

"I was watching Drew McIntyre earlier when they announced The King of the Ring tournament. I see Drew McIntyre as the king, The Scottish King coming out with the robe, which is my opinion. There are a lot of guys in the tournament, but I see Drew McIntyre ascending to another level which is why I say that the fans are going to win at the end of the day. The locker room is about turning it up right now and seeing how far we can push ourselves and how far we can really go as far as a unit. That is the love of the game that I love and miss so much," Booker said.

King of the Ring returns on the August 19 edition of RAW and instead of it being a one or two-day event, it will go on for several weeks with an upcoming Madison Square Garden tour on September 9 and 10 serving as the host of the semifinals.
