Booker T opens up about the WWE Championship match at Survivor Series 2019.
On a recent episode of his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T commented on the Brock Lesnar vs. Rey Mysterio No Disqualification Match at Survivor Series.
Recently, CM Punk said on WWE Backstage that if Brock Lesnar is motivated, this match could be special. Booker T focused on the x-factor that is Rey Mysterio's built-in credibility being the driving force for fans' interest in the title bout in Chicago.
"Rey's in that position for one reason, and one reason only, because the fans are going to buy Rey Mysterio coming out of that curtain. The fans are going to buy Rey Mysterio going out there facing Brock Lesnar," Booker said. "I don't think there's any other [luchador in WWE] that we can believe, you know? I don't care if it's Sin Cara, Kalisto, I don't care, any of them. We [couldn't] believe that guy was gonna win [against Lesnar] like we believe Rey Mysterio has a chance of pulling this out somehow, even though the odds are against him in every facet. But if there's any little guy that could go out there and find a way, to beat Brock Lesnar and become a champion, it's Rey Mysterio."
Survivor Series goes down on November 24th, 2019 at 7 P.M. Eastern on WWE Network and pay-per-view.
