Myles Borne Reflects On His Time With No Quarter Catch Crew, ‘I Didn’t Feel So Singled Out’

Myles Borne reflects on his stint with the No Quarter Catch Crew.

Borne spent nearly two years with the group before breaking off and becoming a singles star. This eventually led to his first title win, as he brought Ethan Page’s reign with the NXT North American Championship to an end back in February.

Speaking with the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, Borne spoke fondly about his time with the faction.

“That was cool because there were amateur wrestlers in that group and people with other disciplines. It was fun to have that little group together — before we even got together in a group, we hit it off really quick in the PC. We felt like brothers from other parts of the world because we shared one thing and that was amateur wrestling. Now that we were in a group together, it felt like alright, we are the NQCC, we are dogs. We are tough catch wrestlers and it was cool. It was fun to have a group because you know, it’s scary being on TV that new. It was nice having those guys come out there with me while I’m out there. I didn’t feel so singled out. It was a good group of guys. I enjoyed my time in NQCC, I had a lot of fun with those guys. Me and Tavion, we clicked really good. I think we had some of our best matches together. I still look back and I’m like, dang, we killed it. We went to Deadline a couple of years ago against Nathan and Axiom, that was a phenomenal match. Then, we got to welcome The Hardys back, that was fun. Me and Tavion, we had a good time together. The NQCC, that was fun. I’m happy it happened but I’m also even more happy that I got to step out and now do something on my own. I wanted that pressure and I wanted that spotlight.”

Borne successfully defended his title against Saquon Shugars. If you missed anything else from that show, check out our full recap by clicking here.
