Brad Maddox Reveals What He Would Have Done Differently In WWE

We always think about what we could have done differently if given a chance to do it all over again.

Brad Maddox is one of those people. He was recently on The World According to Wrestling podcast. When he was asked what he would have done differently during his run in WWE, he mentioned that he would try and have communicated better with people who would have kept him on:

Matt Riddle: Zack Sabre Jr Knows What He's Doing In The Ring

If I had to do it again I would have gone to Vince from day one and said 'Hi. I'm Brad Maddox. Do you know who I am? Do you know about my experience? Do you know I have been in your company for three years now and I'm a trained wrestler?' I would have communicated better and I would've taken my own career into my own hands instead of hoping or thinking that the writers were going to do my job for me

Maddox started on the main roster as a referee, leading to his big start when he cost Ryback a match against CM Punk. He eventually became Assistant Raw Managing Supervisor under Vickie Guerrero. When she was fired, Maddox became GM of Raw, but his gimmick would soon be rendered irrelevant the by the rise of the Authority angle with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. He was written off TV, then tried to come back as a tag team with Adam Rose, but was released by WWE in 2015 after using foul language during a promo.
