On December 16, Brandi Rhodes announced she and Cody were expecting their first child together during an episode of AEW Dynamite.
Brandi had been involved in multiple storylines when the announcement was made, including one that seemed to be setting up a match with her and Cody taking on Shaquille O'Neal and Jade Cargill. Red Velvet ended up teaming with Cody in the match.
While Brandi isn't due until later in the summer, she planning to return at some point.
"I have a lot of amazing fans that definitely want to see me come back and I have a lot of naysayers that I can't wait for them to be so pissed off about it. It's happening. It's definitely going to happen," Brandi said on Busted Open Radio when asked about her potential return.
While it is unknown when Brandi will return to AEW television, she will be featured alongside her husband Cody in their new reality series Rhodes To The Top.
