On the February 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, Ric Flair stated that he was disappointed because he had not been more involved ahead of Sting's last match. He noted that he was exploring his options, and he knocked on the Young Bucks' door. He then met with Matthew and Nicholas Jackson.

Flair is set to be in Sting's corner for his last match at AEW Revolution. There, he and Darby Allin will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Matthew and Nicholas Jackson.
