WrestleMania 34 came and once it was time for the RAW Tag Team Titles match, Strowman went into the crowd and selected a young child from the audience who turned out to be the son of WWE referee John Cone, Nicholas. The following day on RAW the duo had to relinquish their titles due to Nicholas still being in school.

As Braun Strowman was doing PR work on behalf of WWE in India, Strowman spoke with SportsKeeda and during the interview Strowman revealed that he was unaware of who his tag team partner was going to be until he arrived at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

"Oh man, that was a huge surprise to me." Strowman said. "I didn't know who my partner was going to be until I got there that day and the boss told me to pick somebody out of the crowd. He just happened to be the lucky one and he caught my eye. I didn't necessarily think I needed to have a partner but the boss was adamant I had to have one. So, I made a young fan's dream come true. I brought him out there and we put a lickin' on The Bar and won the titles from them."

Braun Strowman has since went on to capture the Money In The Bank contract and Strowman will be defending that very contract in a match against Kevin Owens at the "Biggest Party Of The Summer."
