Braun Strowman Thinks Feud With Reigns Will Be One Of Best In WWE History

Braun Strowman thinks that, when it is all said and done, his ongoing feud with Roman Reigns will rank among the best ever.

Strowman voiced that opinion during a recent appearance on the All Things Wrestling podcast

Whether it has happened on pay-per-views, on Raw or on house shows, Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have spent the vast majority of 2017 battling one another. He called in to All Things Wrestling hours before facing Reigns in a cage match in the main event of the October 16 episode of Raw.

"I'm going to put it out there that we're going to be one of the greatest feuds to ever go down in WWE history, and that's because we both have the same work ethic," Strowman said. "We go out there night after night, it doesn't matter where we are, who we're in front of, how many people we're in front of, we give 100 percent of what we're capable of doing. … the proof's in the pudding. At the end of the show everyone's on their feet, they're hoarse, they're exhausted, they've screamed their lungs out and we've done our job. We've entertained."

Strowman's rivalry with Reigns has been disrupted, at least for now, while Reigns recovers from an illness that kept him out of the planned TLC Match pitting the reunited Shield -- Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose -- against The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Strowman and Kane. Kurt Angle stepped in to replace Reigns in the match.

An extremely green performer when he was called up to the main roster in the fall of 2015, Strowman has progressed to become a marquee act for WWE. As the host noted, TLC marked the third consecutive pay-per-view featuring talent from the Raw brand that featured Strowman in the main event. He was part of the Fatal Four Way for the Universal Title at Summerslam, then challenged Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title again last month at No Mercy.

"Two years ago I debuted on Monday Night Raw and it was the eighth time I ever stepped in front of people. Now it's the third pay-per-view in a row I've main evented," Strowman said. "I'm main eventing all the live events. I've main evented Raws. it's work ethic. And definitely genetics help on my end but it's work ethic. I want to be the best, I want toi be on the top. I'm hungry, feed me, I want everything. I want to carry this company. That's how my mindset is."
