Brawling Birds Reflect On Winning AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships At AEW All In

The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) talk about overcoming their adversities together.

At AEW All In, The Brawling Birds defeated The Divine Dominion for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship. This was Divine Dominion’s first loss in All Elite Wrestling.

During the post-show media scrum for AEW All In, Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter were asked how they felt about overcoming their struggles and adversities by becoming the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Alex: “This is the type of thing, you can’t write it. These are the sort of moments where you look back on and you realize how worth it all is. When you have these moments, it really makes you realize that you know sometimes you don’t give up, you keep going because the payoff can be absolutely in-bloody-credible.”

Jamie: “Yeah, it can. There’s been many a time where I wanted to give up, especially with injuries and things. But as you say, this is just so worth it. I can’t really explain it to be honest with you. I was so anxious all day. I didn’t really know what to think or feel, but walking out, I was like, ‘This is how it’s supposed to be.’”
