Will Ospreay Explains Why Wrestling At RevPro A Day Before AEW All In Was ‘Super Important’ For Him

Will Ospreay talks about appearing at RevPro a day before AEW All In.

On August 30, Will Ospreay wrestled in the main event of AEW All In against Kenny Omega. A day before, he appeared at the RevPro 14th Anniversary Show. Not only that, but he also wrestled on the show.

During the post-show media scrum for AEW All In, Ospreay explained why doing this was important for him.

“It means so much to me to remind people that before there was New Japan, Revolution Pro looked after me. There were so many times Andy (Andy Quildan – Owner of RevPro) could have washed his hands with me and just said, ‘I don’t care how talented you are, you’re too much baggage.’ Instead, he stuck it out with me because he believes that I’ve got a good heart. … Andy’s looked after me since day one. Andy having one of the biggest nights in Revolution Pro history; this is just me, but it would be so cool to see something like that.

Imagine if it was Bryan Danielson, but then the night before, he showed up at Ring of Honor. I think that so many things like that…. It’s never happened before. I would love to just leave a lasting impression. Just because I am performing in the main event of Wembley Stadium on the biggest night of my life, I should not forget about the people that were there at the very start when I had no money, when I couldn’t afford a gym membership. It was super important for me to be there for Andy.”
