Another match has been set for IMPACT Rebellion.
On the April 8 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Brian Myers interrupted Matt Cardona's match with Jake Something, attacking his longtime friend and throwing him face-first into the corner of the steel steps. He then laid him out on the ramp, grabbed a microphone and said that he reconsidered the offer from last week and has agreed to a match at Hardcore Justice. He closed with a verbal jab, saying, "I'm just afraid you're going to be another victim of the roster cut."

Myers has been frustrated with his Major Wrestling Figures podcast co-host, believing that he is following him around and trying to steal his shine. Cardona argues that this is not the case and that he'd rather not fight his friend, but his behavior has been forcing his hand.
Both Myers and Cardona were released from WWE in April 2020 as a result of "budget cuts" stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fightful will have live coverage of IMPACT Rebellion on Saturday, April 25, 2021.
