Brock Lesnar Makes His Return To WWE And Puts An End To Roman Reigns And Braun Strowman's Hell In A Cell Match

Brock has returned.

It was reported by PWInsider before WWE's 'Hell In A Cell' PPV kick-started on the WWE Network that former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was backstage at the event and was walking around in plain sight. Lesnar's last appearance for World Wrestling Entertainment was on August 19th at SummerSlam which is where he was defeated by Roman Reigns and lost the Universal Championship that he had been holding for well over a year.

Once Lesnar lost the match at SummerSlam, it was believed that he was moving on to the UFC seeing as how he has reentered the USADA testing pool to begin fighting in the octagon again. Lesnar is still undergoing tests in the UFC but he also still making appearances for WWE as he showed face alongside his advocate Paul Heyman in the main event of the 'Hell In A Cell' PPV. Roman Reigns defended his WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman inside Hell In A Cell with WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley as the Special Guest Referee.

Halfway through the bout the action broke down as Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose all made their way down to the ring to assist their respective partners which turned into an all-out brawl.

As every active member of the RAW roster who was on top and inside of the structure was laid out, the theme music of the "Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar hit over the speakers and he soon made his way down to the ring accompanied by Paul Heyman. Lesnar kicked down the cage door and delivered a pair of F-5's to both Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman.

Mick Foley had been pepper sprayed by Paul Heyman and with Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns stretched out in the middle of the ring, another official decided to throw away the match and it was declared a no-contest.
