Over the SummerSlam weekend this year, WWE held tryouts on August 1 and 2. Brooke Havok was among those who were invited for the tryouts. On September 11, Havok announced that she’s set to undergo surgery for her torn ACL and meniscus.
Fightful Select said the following about Havok.

We haven’t confirmed whether she signed one before her unfortunate ACL injury, but WWE sources say that there were big plans for her.”
