Buddy Murphy is back!
After breaking away from Seth Rollins and then subsequently joining Rey Mysterio and his family, because of a relationship with Rey Mysterio's daughter, Buddy Murphy disappeared from Friday Night SmackDown in December of 2020.
Murphy returned on March 5 only to once again desire to get into the good graces of Seth Rollins, his former mentor.
Seeing that Cesaro has been troubling Seth Rollins, Buddy Murphy offered to take care of the Cesaro problem for Seth Rollins. Although Seth Rollins denied his help, Buddy Murphy still had a match with Cesaro which he would ultimately end up losing by submission.
With no television explanation as to why Murphy disappeared and it suddenly ready to befriend Seth Rollins again, fans are currently left with more questions than answers regarding the fate of the former disciple.
