Cal Bloom, Son Of Beau Beverly Of The Beverly Brothers, Made SmackDown Debut Against Sheamus

SmackDown this week saw the debut of a former WWF star.

Cal Bloom, who is the son of Wayne Bloom/Beau Beverly of the Beverly Brothers, made his SmackDown debut on April 10 when he faced Sheamus. The debut did not go swimmingly for Cal, who was defeated in just a few minutes.

Below is the summary of the match from Fightful's live coverage of the show. 

Sheamus vs Cal Bloom

They go back and forth before Sheamus drops Cal with a back elbow and stomps him against the ropes before hitting clubbing blows with Cal in the ropes before hitting the Brogue Kick for the pin and the win.

Winner: Sheamus defeats Cal Bloom via pinfall.

Cal, who used to play football at the University of Central Florida, started with WWE in 2019 wrestling on NXT live events against the likes of Kassius Ohno, Damian Priest, Raul Mendoza, Mansoor and more. Prior to his match on SmackDown, Cal last wrestled on an NXT live event on March 7. 

He wasn't the only person to make a surprise appearance on SmackDown as The Forgotten Sons from NXT also appeared on the show, defeating Lucha House Party.
