Callum Newman Reveals He Signed Long-Term Contract With NJPW

Newman is with NJPW for the long run.
There is a new IWGP Heavyweight Champion in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and it is Callum Newman. He won the belt by defeating Yota Tsuji at Sakura Genesis.
Newman, alongside United Empire (Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira & HENARE), ventured to All Elite Wrestling to help Ospreay fight the Death Riders.
NJPW1972.com rolled out a new interview with Newman, and he was asked about the idea of AEW wanting to bring him in. Newman said he’s signed to NJPW and has a long-term contract.
“I’m signed here. I live here now and I’ve got a long-term contract. I’ve never spoken to Tony Khan. The only people I know there (at AEW) are Will (Ospreay) and Andrade (El Idolo).”
Newman’s next title defense will be against Shingo Takagi at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku.
