Carlie Bravo: Tommy Dreamer Told Me He Couldn’t Hire Me Because He Didn’t Know If He Could Market A Cocky Black Guy

Carlie Bravo shares his interaction with Tommy Dreamer.

Tommy Dreamer worked for TNA Wrestling for a decade as a member of creative, a producer, and helping scout talent. He parted ways with the company on June 17.

On social media, Carlie shared an interaction he had with Dreamer years ago, responding to referee Perch sharing that Dreamer told him that he would never get a job in the business.

“He told me I was very talented but couldn’t hire me cuz “he didn’t know if he could market ‘cocky black guy’ to the world”. Needless to say, I’m on top of the game and never changed one bit.

Run it up.
Fuck what anybody else says.”

Carlie Bravo has become a regular on ROH TV as a member of Shane Taylor Promotions, even carving out a role on AEW during the STP feud with the Death Riders.
