Carlito is excited for the possibilities that can stem from the working relationship between WWE and TNA now that the former has purchased the latter.
WWE announced during WrestleMania weekend that they had acquired Lucha Libre AAA. They will be co-promoting an event, WWE x AAA Worlds Collide on June 7, featuring the very best athletes that both companies have to offer. Carlito is no stranger to the world of professional wrestling outside of the continental United States, having gotten his start in his father's World Wrestling Council (WWC) promotion in Puerto Rico.
Carlito is now opening up about the possibilities now that WWE owns AAA and much more in a new interview with Contralona.
"This is something big. I think it will open doors for many Mexicans, not only in Mexico but around the world, because the talent in Mexico is just as good as in WWE, and now more eyes will be watching them. AAA is going to explode, and that will help WWE gain more international representation, God willing. This is a very positive, very good alliance."
