Carmella On The Biggest Difference Between NXT and SmackDown Live

Carmella has made the most of her opportunity since being drafted to the main roster.

Taken last in the 2016 WWE Draft, Carmella was seen as an afterthought when the event was over. She was best known for her managerial expertise, leading Enzo & Big Cass to the ring during her time in NXT. While she worked the NXT live events, she rarely wrestled on live television. So, when she was brought to the main roster without Enzo & Cass, it came as a big surprise.

Speaking to Steve from Going In Raw, Carmella discussed the differences between NXT and SmackDown Live.

"I never even wrestled on a live show when I was in NXT. I never wrestled on a TakeOver or anything like that. For me, my very first live match on television was SmackDown against Natalya," said Carmella. "So much is thrown at you and it was overwhelming. The biggest difference was just learning to go on the fly because it's live. You only have two hours. (NXT), you can kind of make a mistake and they'll fix it or whatever. There's nothing like live television."

Live television has suited Carmella. Thus far, she won the first-ever Women's Money in the Bank and became SmackDown Women's Champion. She's currently involved in a storyline with R-Truth.
