Big Cass Says That He Has Completely Detached Himself From Wrestling Since Being Released From WWE

Big Cass has detached.

Former NXT Tag-Team Of The Year award winner Big Cass has now been out of the WWE for three months. His release came following a match with Daniel Bryan at the 'Money In The Bank' PPV on June 17th and just two days later Cass was released from his contract. Big Cass has always been silent from social media but since his release from the sports-entertainment company he has not made any public comments until recently when he joined Booker T on Booker's 'Heated Conversations' podcast.

Big Cass went over his release--stating that if he were in WWE's shoes he would've released himself too. Cass also discussed he and Enzo's ex-friendship and if there is a chance that they could reunite and towards the end of the conversation between Booker and Cass, Cass stated that he has completely detached himself from wrestling since his release to the point that he had no clue that Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to become Universal Champion.

“One-hundred percent [He's detached himself]. I haven’t watched SmackDown, RAW, I haven’t watched anything wrestling since I got released." Cass revealed. "I’ve just been doing my thing, working out, eating right and binge watching my favorite television shows that I’m trying to catch up on and stuff like that but I have not watched a single second of wrestling since I got released. I don’t even know who the champions are nowadays so I’m assuming Brock is still the Universal Champion… Oh he’s not? Good, good for Roman, I really love Roman.”

Big Cass will be back in the swing of things soon as he is scheduled to make his first post-WWE appearance on September 21st for the 'Big Time Wrestling' promotion. On a related note, Roman Reigns' next test as Universal Champion has come in the form of Braun Strowman. The two men will meet inside Hell In A Cell on September 16th at the 'Hell In A Cell' PPV.
