Carmella Discusses Winning Money In The Bank, When She Might Cash In

Carmella?s name will forever be etched in history.

Being the first female Money in the Bank winner has to be a big accomplishment for Carmella. She spoke to The Sun about her big accomplishment earlier this year.

?Natalya, Naomi, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, everyone is making history and I wanted to be a part of it and now my name will always be forever etched in history ? and that?s all I?ve ever wanted? she told them.

But while having your name in the record books is a giant accomplishment, carrying around the briefcase has to get annoying, especially through airport security. Like with many who have held it in the past, the most difficult thing about being a Money in the Bank winner is just trying to lug around the thing.

?I have to carry it everywhere I go. When we fly I only get to have one carry on and one personal item. Sometimes I just have one little bag and my briefcase? she said. ?A few weeks ago I was at baggage claim and a man asked me if I was in the banking business. I was like ?Really? You think I?m going I?m going to be carrying around a briefcase with money in the bank written on it with money in it???

And the question remains -- when will Carmella actually cash in and win the title? It?s been teased a few times, but it has yet to be cashed in this year. Carmella gave a small hint, but didn?t reveal any timeframe.

?Everyone always dreams of that WrestleMania moment and of course that would be amazing,? she said. "I won BOTH the Money in the Bank ladder matches, and that was so insane for me and surreal, but unfortunately I?m not revealing any of my plans. I don?t want Natalya to catch onto anything.?

Carmella, real name Leah Van Dale, is the daughter of Paul Van Dale, a former WWE enhancement talent. Before joining WWE in 2013, she was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Lakers.
