Carmella answers a fan question on if a triple threat match involving her, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch was the plan in 2022.
At WrestleMania 38 in 2022, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch would face off for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship, with Belair taking the championship back from Becky after her shock return to WWE at SummerSlam 2021, where she would replace Carmella in a title match. Now, Carmella has spoken about if she was ever considered to be added to the rivalry between Belair and Lynch.
In a new social media post on Friday, Carmella reacted to a fan question on if she was considered for a triple threat match with the pair following a segment involving the trio in July of 2022. The former champion would note that Bianca and Becky pushed for it, but it was ‘never a plan’ for her to be involved in the rivalry.
“Never a plan. But I will say both Becky and B pushed for it.”
