Championship Contender's Match Announced For 1/21 WWE SmackDown

A Championship Contender Match has been set for next Friday's SmackDown.

On the January 14 episode of SmackDown, tensions continued to rise between Naomi and Sonya Deville, as the WWE Official refuses to face Naomi one-on-one in the ring. Sonya went so far as to call Naomi a "supporting character."

Later in the show, Naomi confronted Sonya again and nearly attacked her after she noticed Sonya wasn't wearing her suit jacket. Adam Pearce, however, intervened before anything could happen. Naomi then referenced her match with Charlotte Flair last week and how she would have won if Sonya hadn't changed the rules halfway through the bout.

Pearce agreed and then announced that Naomi and Flair would do battle again next week, January 21.

The full card for next week's show can be seen below.
