Charlotte And Ric Flair Sued By Charlotte's Ex-Husband Riki Paul Johnson

The Flair family will be fighting together in court.

According to TMZ, Charlotte and Ric Flair are being sued by Riki Paul Johnson, the ex-husband of Charlotte. Johnson claims that he was defamed in their book "Second Nature," where Charlotte wrote that Johnson was sterile. Johnson also claims that allegations of physical and/or psychological abuse made in the book are false. Finally, Johnson claims that Charlotte incorrectly wrote that he was fired from two jobs due to illicit drug use.

Johnson is suing the Flair's for damages totally $5 million. WWE is also part of the lawsuit as they helped promote the book. Johnson says the allegations and claims made in the book have humiliated him and his three children.

In the suit, Johnson claims that he was painted as the villain to make Charlotte a hero for overcoming personal adversity and domestic abuse. Johnson and Flair were married from 2010 to 2011. "Second Nature" was released in Sept. 2017.

WWE told TMZ, "We recently received what appears to be a meritless lawsuit and we will vigorously defend ourselves."

Charlotte and Ric have yet to comment on the situation.
