Charlotte Flair Declares Her Entry Into The 2021 Royal Rumble Match

Charlotte Flair looks to become the first woman to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles.

“The Queen” looks to make history once again and defy the odds at the Royal Rumble. In a WWE digital exclusive ahead of the January 4 episode of Monday Night Raw, Charlotte Flair officially declared her entry into the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

Charlotte Flair made her return to WWE at the TLC pay-per-view where she officially completed the Grand Slam by capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Asuka. That victory made her the first woman in WWE history to become Divas Champion, NXT Women's Champion, WWE Raw Women's Champion, and WWE SmackDown Women's Champion.

Should Charlotte successfully win the Royal Rumble this year, she will become the first woman ever to win back-to-back Royal Rumble matches and the first woman ever to win more than one Royal Rumble. Her victory in last year's Royal Rumble made her the first WWE Superstar to become a second-generation Royal Rumble winner. Her father, Ric Flair, won the Royal Rumble in 1992 to capture his first WWE Championship. Charlotte used her Royal Rumble victory to capture her second NXT Championship, twelfth overall singles championship, and make history by completing the first NXT Brandon championship match in WrestleMania history.

Ahead of Legends Night on Monday Night Raw, Ric Flair openly spoke about the criticisms that his daughter receives on the internet and said he has no doubt in his mind that she is the greatest female wrestler to ever lace a pair of boots. Read his comment at this link.
