Charlotte Flair Retains The SmackDown Live Women's Championship, Asuka Comes Out To Challenge Charlotte For The Title

"The Empress Of Tomorrow" has made her decision.

During tonight's WWE 'Fastlane' PPV, "The Queen" Charlotte Flair put her SmackDown Live Women's Title on the line against Ruby Riott. There would be interference by way of the Riott Squad, but the duo of Becky Lynch and Naomi would come to ringside to even the odds. Once everyone at ringside was ejected, it was down to the competitors in the match to finish the job and the woman who came out on top was Charlotte Flair, as she retained her championship.

Shortly after Charlotte had her hand raised, the winner of the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble match Asuka strutted her way down to the ring with one thing on her mind. Up until this point, Asuka had yet to make her decision regarding the champion she was going to challenge at WrestleMania, but now she has.

The former NXT Women's Champion has made her decision and it is now official that at WrestleMania 34 on April 8th, Charlotte Flair will be defending the SmackDown Live Women's Championship against Asuka.
