Charlotte Flair Says She Is Looking Forward To Working With Bayley Again

Charlotte wants to see where the story goes.

Charlotte Flair and the current SmackDown Live Women's Champion Bayley feuded in 2017 over the RAW Women's Championship and fast forward two years later, Bayley won the Money In The Bank contract and on the same night she cashed in on Charlotte Flair to become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. Bayley and Flair have history that dates back to their respective beginnings in NXT and last night on SmackDown, Charlotte had the opportunity to become Bayley's opponent at the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view on June 23rd when she competed in a Triple-Threat match against Carmella and Alexa Bliss.

Bliss picked up the victory in the match but Charlotte is looking forward to seeing where the story goes from here. She spoke with 'The Comeback' and reflected on the night that Bayley cashed in on her and said she wants to work with Bayley again.

“I think I go, ‘Well, guess it’s time to become the 10-time champion.’ That’s how I felt when I left [Money in the Bank], I’m like, ‘Well I’m nine, gotta be 10.’ I thought it was exciting and obviously being knocked out wasn’t ideal with Bayley cashing in on me while I was knocked out, but I’m looking forward to seeing where the story is going. I’m looking forward to working with Bayley again.” She said.

Also on last night's SmackDown Live, The Undertaker and WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg stood face-to-face and to read about how that unfolded, check out Fightful's published article about the topic.
