Chase Owens Announces That He's Signed A Contract With NJPW

Chase Owens is staying in Japan.

The self-dubbed "Crown Jewel" and Bullet Club member Chase Owens took to social media to announce that he has officially signed a contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The former NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion Chase Owens started with New Japan in 2014 and came in as the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion. One year into his run in the company and he was placed in Bullet Club and immediately after being added to the group, he and Kenny Omega partook in the 2015 Super Jr. Tag Tournament. Between 2015 and 2017, Owens was moved up to the Heavyweight division and he soon became a member of Bullet Club Elite with Cody, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Adam "Hangman" Page and Marty Scurll but as members of The Elite recently finished up with New Japan, Chase and his partner Yujiro Takahashi rejoined Tama Tonga, Fale, Jay White, Taiji Ishimori and Tanga Loa in the original Bullet Club.
