Chris Hero Announces That He Is Back

Kassius Ohno left his boots in the ring. But Chris Hero is back.

Last Wednesday, Kassius Ohno was among the handful of releases and furloughs made by WWE. Ohno had been working on the NXT and NXT UK brands and was viewed as a "player/coach" by many. Ohno was silent regarding his release, but fans picked up on his status when his profile was moved to the WWE Alumni page on the WWE website. Ohno then changed his social media handle to "WWE Alumni."

On Sunday, he posted a photo of his boots sitting in the ring, signifying the retirement of Kassius Ohno

While Kassius Ohno may never wrestle again, Chris Hero is back.

Chris Hero was the name Ohno went by on the Independent scene before joining WWE in 2012 and then again in 2016. Hero is one of the most decorated and respected wrestlers in Independent wrestling history, winning titles in CZW, CHIKARA, PWG, ROH, EVOLVE, and more.
