Chris Island Departs WWE

Another name is gone from WWE.

Among the WWE NXT talents who have departed WWE on April 24th is Chris Island. Island’s departure was confirmed by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp.

Island was featured on season one of WWE LFG on A&E. He was on season two of the series as well.

Island made his NXT in-ring debut in May 2025 as part of a Battle Royal for an NXT Championship match. He last wrestled in February 2026 at an NXT house show against Elijah Holyfield.
