Chris Jericho: To Disrespect Veterans In Any Way Is Taboo In Our Business

Chris Jericho gives his thoughts on Lio Rush.

Earlier today, Fightful ran a story with quotes from Mark Henry, who discussed Lio being upset that he had to carry water and bags for veteran wrestlers. Henry said, "Nobody is exempt from being respectful to the business and pay homage to the guys that are drawing money. We've all done it. Steve Austin and The Rock did it. You better than The Rock? Get the hell out of here. I remember when Chris Jericho came to WWE from WCW. I remember walking back from my match. His match was after mine and he had three bottles of water. One for him, one for his opponent, and one for the referee. This is Chris Jericho. You better than Chris Jericho? Get the hell outta here with that."

A user on Twitter responded to Henry's comments in a new deleted tweet, saying, "I?m sorry, but if I was a big star in WWE, I would never make the young guys carry my bags. It?s an exercise in humiliation designed by bitter midcarders who need to constantly be told how great they are because they have little accomplishment to do it for them."

Chris Jericho offered up a response of his own on social media.

Lio has not responded to either Henry or Jericho on social media. You can read Fightful's interview with Lio by clicking here.
