Chris Jericho has applied for another trademark relating to an AEW idea.
On September 9, Jericho applied for the trademark "Mimosa Mayhem," which is the match type he competed in against Orange Cassidy at AEW All Out.
The trademark has the following description:
IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network. FIRST USE: 20200905. FIRST USE IN COMMERCE: 20200905
In a recent Instagram post, Jericho revealed he sketched the idea for the match back in July.
Here’s the original drawing of my idea for the #MimosaMayhemMatch that I sent to @tonyrkhan on July 20! Almost 7 weeks later, we made this outlandish idea into a fun, exciting, brand new reality!! Thanks to our incredible team at @allelitewrestling who helped make this wild idea come to life. @jazwares & @jeremypadawer...let’s make a play set! #AllOut
Jericho was defeated by Cassidy in the match when Cassidy knocked him into the pool of mimosa.
