Chris Jericho Lost A Patch Of His Hair After Taking A Piledriver At Wrestle Kingdom 13

Jericho lost his title and some hair.

At Wrestle Kingdom 13 on January 4th, the co-main event of the show pitted Tetsuya Naito against Chris Jericho for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. The match was contested under No-DQ rules which allowed for Naito and Jericho to do what they eventually did which was take one another to their physical limits. At one point during the match, Naito took Jericho to the Tokyo Dome entrance ramp and lifted Jericho up for a piledriver and dropped the then-champion on his head.

As a result of this piledriver, Jericho lost a patch of his hair and he shared a photo of the bald spot on Instagram and made jokes about it with the following hashtags: "#NeverTakingAPileDriverOnTheRampAgain and #IThoughtThisWasAWork
