Flanked by his new crew, the AEW World Champion Chris Jericho addressed the crowd in Boston on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite.
Jericho put over his new group, which consists of Santana & Ortiz (formerly LAX in IMPACT), Sammy Guevara, and Jake Hager (formerly Jack Swagger in WWE). As the crowd chanted "We the people," a reference to Hager's WWE gimmick, Jericho quickly shut them up, noting that, "'We The People' sucks. It's dead and buried. It was a stupid idea from bad creative and all of that's gone."
Jericho dubbed his new crew The Inner Circle.
After putting over his running mates, the AEW World Champ turned his attention to his opponent at AEW Full Gear, Cody Rhodes. Jericho ran down Cody and the Rhodes family, claiming he was going to "beat the ever-loving shit" out of Cody.
