10/9/2019 AEW Dynamite Results: The Inner Circle Is Formed & The Tag Team Title Tournament Begins

AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal
The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. The Private Party (Marq Quen & Isaiah Kassidy)

The match begins with Nick doing some work on the arm of Kassidy, Kassidy gets free and does some work of his own on Nick’s arm. Nick goes for a few super kicks and Kassidy avoids them all, Nick throws gum at Kassidy and Kassidy gets angry. Nick nails Kassidy with a neck breaker as Matt tags in, Matt and Nick then double team both opponents. Nick tags back in and he nails the arm of Kassidy with an axe handle smash, Matt tags in and does the same thing. Nick gets another tag and he nails the arm of Kassidy with a top rope double stomp, Kassidy fights back and he sends an interfering Matt out of the ring. Kassidy fights both Bucks before taking Matt out with a moonsault that sends both crashing to the arena floor, Quen tags in and he takes out both Bucks with multiple suicide dives. Quen gets Nick back in the ring before landing a 450 splash for a near fall, Quen misses an avalanche in the corner and Matt makes the blind tag. The Bucks start attacking The Private Party with super kicks, Nick tags back in and Matt power bombs Kassidy on the entrance ramp.

Nick then nails Quen with a knee strike, The Bucks then hit Quen with a power bomb/sliced break combo for a near fall. Nick gets Quen in a sharp shooter and Quen gets to the ropes, Matt tags in and he nails a cornered Quen with some strikes. Matt drops Quen before stomping away on him, Nick tags in and The Bucks nail Quen with a double drop kick. Matt tags back in and he drops a swinging Quen before tagging Nick in, Nick kicks Quen in the face before landing a springboard double stomp. Matt tags in and Quen causes Nick to kick Matt in the head. Quen then sends a charging Nick out of the ring, Quen looks for a tag and Nick knocks Kassidy off the ring apron. Matt then hits Quen with a spear for a near fall, Matt gets angry and he nails Quen with a few strikes. Nick comes in the ring and Quen takes out both of The Bucks with a double overhead kick, Kassidy tags in and he nails both opponents with a double missile drop kick. Kassidy also nails The Bucks with a double rana, Kassidy grabs Matt and he attacks him with forearm strikes, Matt recovers and attacks the injured back of Kassidy.

The Private Party go for Silly String and Matt counters by nailing both opponents with multiple northern lights suplexes, The Bucks then hit Kassidy with a power bomb/enzaguri combo, Matt gets Kassidy in a sharp shooter as Nick nails Quen with a super kick. Kassidy looks to get to the ropes and Nick attacks him, Kassidy still finds a way to get to the ropes. The Bucks go for More Bang For Your Buck as Quen makes a blind tag, Kassidy nails Matt with a reverse rana. The Private Party takes out Nick with Gin & Juice, Quen nails Matt with a shooting star press for a near fall. Quen gets angry and he nails Matt with a ton of strikes, The Bucks go for a Meltzer Driver and Kassidy blocks it. Quen surprises Matt with a roll up for a three count.

Winners: The Private Party (Marq Quen & Isaiah Kassidy)

- AEW World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, Santana, Ortiz, Jake Hager & Sammy Guevara make their way to the ring. Jericho grabs the microphone to say his name is Chris Jericho and he is the champion of AEW, Jericho talks about how AEW Dynamite was the highest rated premier in TNT history because of him. Jericho talks about he and his friends beating up The Elite to end last weeks episode, Jericho says Guevara looks like a spanish god and he is on his list. Jericho then talks about Santana and Ortiz, Jericho says that they are dirtier and nastier then they have ever been before and they made the list as well. Jericho then speaks about Hager and he is the toughest MMA fighter in the world today, Jericho says the “we the people” chant sucks and it dead and buried. Jericho says Hager is the toughest man in the wrestling business today, Jericho says that the group will be known as The Inner Circle. Jericho says that Cody has been entitled and was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Jericho says he doesn’t like the Rhodes Family, Jericho also calls Dusty Rhodes a jerk. Jericho promises the beat the shit out of Cody at AEW Full Gear.

Jimmy Havoc vs. Darby Allin

The match begins with Allin dropping a swinging Havoc before rolling him up for a two count, Havoc catches Allin in a roll up of his own for a near fall. Allin recovers and he drops Havoc with a springboard arm drag, Allin follows that up by nailing Havoc with a shotgun drop kick. Havoc gets to the ring apron and he bites the hand of Allin, Havoc then superplexes Allin from inside the ring to the arena floor. Havoc gets Allin in the ring before getting a near fall on a pin attempt, Havoc holds Allin down while stomping on his arm. Havoc then drops Allin with a hard Irish whip before biting his hand for a second time, Havoc corners Allin before wrenching away on the injured arm. Allin fights back and Havoc gets him in a top rope sleeper hold, Havoc gets off the ropes to hit Allin with a sleeper suplex. Allin rolls to the arena floor as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Allin nailing Havoc with a few strikes. Havoc recovers and nails Allin with a roaring elbow for a near fall, Havoc picks up Allin and nails him with a death valley driver into the corner for another near fall. Havoc follows up by nailing Allin with a double underhook pile driver for a near fall, Allin shocks Havoc with a roll up for a two count.

Havoc gets angry and he stomps away on the head of a downed Allin, Havoc goes for an Acid Rainmaker and Allin counters by biting his hand. Allin nails Havoc with a stunner and Coffin Drop for a three count.

Winner: Darby Allin

Riho & Dr. Britt Baker vs. Bea Priestley & Emi Sakura

The match begins with Riho backing Sakura into the ropes before letting her go free, Riho goes for a cross body block and Sakura counters with a slam. Riho gets up and she cracks Sakura with a drop kick, Sakura recovers and she tosses Riho across the ring. Priestley interferes and attacks Riho while the ref was distracted, Sakura slams Riho before applying the Romero Special to her. Priestley tags in and she knocks Baker off the ring apron, Priestley goes to the arena floor and she throws Baker into the barricade. Baker fights back and she attacks Priestley with some strikes, Sakura joins the brawl and she works with Priestley to hit Baker with a double suplex on the arena floor. Riho then leaps off the top rope and onto her opponents, Riho gets Priestley in the ring and the other two women hit the ring a short time later. Riho takes Priestley down with a head scissors takedown before landing a 619 for a near fall, Baker tags in and Priestley quickly nails her with a top rope double stomp. Sakura interferes and attacks Baker so Priestley can get a near fall on her, Priestley then hits Baker with a cradle back suplex for a near fall.

Riho hits the ring and she attacks both members of the opposing team until Priestley drops her, Baker and Priestley then have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Riho recovers and she double teams Priestley with Baker, Baker then gets a near fall on Priestley after landing a DDT. Sakura tags in and she attacks Baker with chops followed by a back breaker, Sakura follows up by nailing a cornered Baker with a running cross body block and Vader Bomb for a near fall. Baker recovers and she drops Sakura with a cutter, Sakura gets up and Riho interferes to nail her with a double stomp. Baker then hits Sakura with a spinning neck breaker for a near fall, Sakura fights back and she nails Baker with knee strikes. Baker fights back to land another spinning neck breaker, Baker locks Sakura in a Rings Of Saturn to force a tap out.
