Chris Jericho went to New Japan to get a hold of Tetsuya Naito's stupid head.
During his WWE career, Chris Jericho won the WWE Intercontinental Championship a record nine times and now he will be challenging for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship at the New Japan Pro Wrestling event Dominion. During a recent NJPW event, Jericho had a message for his future opponent Tetsuya Naito.
"You are on the best performers in the world today, one of the biggest stars in New Japan Pro Wrestling...Naito, I'm going to fuck you up. I'm going to take your Intercontinental championship from you," sad Chris Jericho. "I've been waiting for six months to get my hands on your filthy stupid head. Naito, I'm going to take the Intercontinental championship from you and add it to my collection. Ten time Intercontinental Champion," he continued.
Even though Jericho thinks Naito is the best NJPW has to offer he still said he was a "piece of shit" who will be gone from the spotlight soon. He said he came to NJPW to fight Naito to prove he has staying power in professional wrestling.
