Chris Sabin Says Winning The ROH World Title At IMPACT Hard To Kill Would 'Solidify' His Career

Chris Sabin is eyeing the possibility of adding another World Title reign to his legacy.

Chris Sabin made history when he defeated Bully Ray for the IMPACT World Title in 2013. Ultimately, his reign was not a long one and Chris was never able to recapture World Title gold in IMPACT again. Now, Sabin has a shot to win the (Original) ROH World Title from Jonathan Gresham at IMPACT Hard to Kill.

Speaking about this opportunity with Denise Salcedo of The Sportster, Sabin admitted there is mutual respect between him and Gresham but Hard To Kill on January 8 is about legacy.

"Yeah, that's huge. That's something you can always go back and reference some sort of history in wrestling that you made. It's not really that easy to do something new and solidify your name at such a historic level like that by winning two world championships in two different companies like that. It would mean a lot, it would add to my credentials, to my career, it would be something I'd be proud of," said Sabin about the possibility of winning the Ring of Honor World Championship.

Should Gresham get by Sabin, another former IMPACT World Champion, Josh Alexander is awaiting his shot at the gold on the debut TERMINUS Pro Wrestling show. Learn more here.
