Michael Cole noted that this was the first time in seven months the World Heavyweight Championship was defended on Raw. Meanwhile, Pat McAfee noted that the crowd was "yeeting all over" Seth Rollins' face.
The match was a strong back-and-forth contest, with each superstar demonstrating why they belong in the main event.
Jey Uso performed a huge suicide dive onto Seth Rollins which led to the first commercial break of the match. Rollins countered a spear into a pedigree, which almost led to a three-count but Jey was able to kick out. The move resulted in a "Holy Sh*t" chant from the live crowd. Rollins attempted a curb stomp, but Jey ducked and locked in his sleeper hold -- the same move he beat Gunther with. Rollins reversed the move and took a spear, but was able to kick out at two.

Bron Breakker got involved, causing a distraction for Jey, which led to a falcon arrow from Seth Rollins onto the world champion, followed by a curb stomp. Much to the chagrin of Rollins, Uso kicked out at two, which led to a huge 'Yeet' chant. Sami Zayn came out to help his Bloodline brother, but ate a spear from Bron Breakker for his troubles.
Jey checked on Sami and ate a spear himself from Breakker, who then rolled Jey back into the ring. Seth Rollins almost got the win, but CM Punk returned and immediately attacked Breakker, and then Rollins, which led to the match being thrown out.
