CM Punk continues to open up about his wrestling past.
in a new video for GQ Sports, CM Punk breaks down famous scenes from pro wrestling movies such as Nacho Libre and The Wrestler.
When discussing the latter, Punk took a friendly jab at John Cena and how loudly the WWE legend can sometimes call spots in the ring.
He said, “To communicate: the easiest way to do it is just whisper sweet nothings into each other's ears or talk as loudly as you possibly can so people in the cheap seats can hear you like John Cena.”
Punk also claimed that he could put his gear on and wrestle Rey Mysterio right now without the two exchanging a single word in the ring due to the number of times they have already completed.
"There's guys that you can wrestle and not say a word to, but normally that comes with repetition. I could put my gear on right now and I guarantee you could have an entire match with Rey Mysterio and not talk to him once," said the former WWE Champion
In a recent Reddit AMA, Punk revealed that he still has all of his old gear, But he’s also said recently that it would take quite a hefty price to get him back in WWE.
