CM Punk flipped the script on AEW Dynamite.
Wednesday's AEW Dynamite opened with MJF's music, much to the delight of the Long Island crowd. Unfortunately for them, they were not greeted by their hometown hero, but were instead met by Chicago native CM Punk.
The usually beloved Punk fed off the boos and took shots at MJF, all of Long Island and especially the New York Islanders, who are currently dead last in the Metropolitan Division.
Punk, wearing a Britt Baker Four Pillars shirt, once again issued a challenge to MJF, saying he didn't want any other members of The Pinnacle because it was between him and MJF.
