CMLL Gran Alternativa Finals Set for CMLL Dream Matches Friday

The finals for the 2025 Gran Alternativa Tournament are set for the December 19 edition of CMLL Dream Matches Friday at Arena Mexico.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre hosted the December 12, 2025, edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular. It took place at Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico, and it aired on YouTube. As part of the show, the 2025 Gran Alternativa Tournament began.

After a series of matches, Atlantis Jr. & Xelhua team will face Angel de Oro & Yutani in the finals. Atlantis Jr. is mentoring Xelhua in this tournament, while Angel de Oro is mentoring Yutani. The finals will take place on CMLL Dream Matches Friday.

Other participants in the tournament were Hijo del Pantera & Templario, El Gallero & Euforia, Barboza & Averno, Futuro & Esfinge,  Explosivo & Titan, and Volador Jr. & El Elemental. The updated card is listed below.
