Cody Rhodes Issues Open Challenge To Brock Lesnar On 5/29 WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes wants to fight Brock Lesnar again.

Rhodes and Lesnar have been feuding since the night after WrestleMania 39, as Lesnar brutally attacked "The American Nightmare." The two foes clashed at WWE Backlash, where Rhodes scored the win with a sneaky pin. Lesnar then attacked Rhodes and cost him his match in the tournament for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

They agreed to face each other at WWE Night of Champions, and Rhodes entered the match with a broken arm following another attack by Lesnar on the May 22 episode of WWE Raw. Lesnar defeated Rhodes via the referee's decision at WWE Night of Champions, as Cody passed out in an arm-bar.

On the May 29 episode of WWE Raw, Cody came to the ring, and his arm was in a heavy brace. He stated that he didn't tap out to Lesnar because that's not the kind of man he wanted to be. Cody noted that Lesnar wasn't there, and he had likely gone on vacation.

Speaking to the camera, he questioned whether Lesnar was satisfied with their score being 1-1, as they had a victory over each other. Rhodes issued an open challenge to Lesnar and offered to send him his schedule, as he was willing to fight him anywhere.

Cody then claimed that Lesnar was not man enough to make him tap out, and if he didn't accept the challenge, that meant he was scared of Rhodes. As of this writing, Lesnar has not responded to the challenge.

Fightful will continue to monitor the situation and provide more information as it becomes available.
