A tag team bout has been added to Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
Appearing on Friday's Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan announced that Cody Rhodes will team with Lee Johnson to take on Dante Martin & Matt Sydal on the September 29 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Rhodes returned to the ring on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, losing to Malakai Black in singles competition.
Martin & Sydal are 1-1 as a tag team. They defeated The Factory (Aaron Solo & QT Marshall), but lost to FTR. Rhodes & Johnson are also 1-1 as a team, previously defeating Cezar Bononi & Peter Avalon, but losing to The Factory (Anthony Ogogo & QT Marshall).
Plus, Tony announced that fans will hear from Nyla Rose, Jade Cargill, and Thunder Rosa on Dynamite.
