Cody Rhodes: The UK Doesn't Get Near Enough Service For How Good Of Fans They Are

Cody Rhodes has big plans for 2021.

AEW was set for a big debut in the UK with Tony Khan confirming that Fyter Fest 2020 was originally set to be held in London before the pandemic shut things down.

Assuming things open back up in 2021, Cody wants to make sure AEW brings a big show to the UK while making other waves internationally.

"Our international presence; locking down a deal in India and Australia. Preparing for our first tour in the UK. To me, the UK have been committed to WWE for so many years based on one SummerSlam. 'They came here that one time.' WWE was all over the UK and did a great job, but I don't think they get near enough service for how good and loyal of wrestling fans they are. I want to prepare that big tour," Cody said on Talk Is Jericho.

AEW Dynamite currently airs on FITE TV and ITV4 in the UK.

As far as his other goals in 2021, Cody said he would like to prepare more stories for AEW Dark, lean into the "real sports" side of AEW, and cultivate more partnerships with companies who don't know about wrestling.
