Cody Rhodes is going to take on Peter Avalon on the January 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.
In addition to the loaded lineup that has already been announced for the next episode of AEW Dynamite, the only two-time TNT Champion will be in action when Cody Rhodes takes on "Pretty" Peter Avalon.

This will be Peter Avalon's first appearance on Dynamite since May of last year and his first singles match on the TNT Network program since November of 2019.
Cody Rhodes is still floating between the storyline with Team Taz and a budding rivalry with Jade Cargill and potentially Shaquille O'Neal.
